Mission Statement
MustLuvBoxers Mission Statement
MustLuvBoxers is a forum dedicated to sharing information of our chosen breed, the Boxer, to discuss our love of them, promote and support rescue efforts, pass along valuable information that as a group we have accumulated over the years in training, health, feeding...any and all aspects of being a loving and responsible owner.
We're all here for the same reason.. to learn and to share, to make friends and lasting relationships, and all that we ask is that you treat everyone with kindness and respect, refrain from abusive language or the posting of pictures that may be offensive, especially since we occasionally have a young visitor on the board. Debating non-animal political topics or religious issues really has no place on a dog forum so please have those discussions off board if they cannot remain civil. If you disagree with someone we ask that you do it gently, and if the topic becomes heated, please have your discussion via PM or private email. People are going to disagree, and we welcome healthy debates, but please don't allow it to become personal.
We ask that you not makes posts concerning the breeding of your Boxer unless you have completed ALL the recommended health testing and are breeding solely for the betterment of the breed. We also ask that posts regarding the selling of Boxers not be placed on MustLuvBoxers and pictures of unapproved litters may not be placed on the forum.
MustLuvBoxers does not condone backyard breeders (BYB), puppy mills or pet stores. If you are interested in finding a new pup our members will help guide you in the right direction to find a responsible breeder, and we also have information on reputable Boxer rescues throughout the U.S. We have several “reputable breeders” on board that will be able to assist in your search. Information on finding a responsible breeder can be found in our "Breeding" forum. It is our goal to help educate potential puppy buyers on the proper ethics involved in choosing a well bred pup to help insure the betterment of the breed by not supporting BYB’s.
The heart and soul of MustLuvBoxers is Rescue….We strongly promote and support Rescue, whether it's from an established Boxer Rescue, an animal shelter or anywhere there's a Boxer in need of a loving home….and we will continue in this endeavor until none are left behind.
